"You never feel like you're out there alone"

“I’ve been in sales for most of my life, so I thought I was well prepared to go out on my own. I wasn’t. Being part of a sales team had given me a structure to get through the day. My supervisor would hand me a stack of leads to follow up on that the telemarketers had put together the day before. And all of the promotional materials just came to me in neat, little envelopes. I had an office to go to and a schedule to follow. In my own business, based from home, I had to create an office space and a web site, design my own brochures, and find all my own prospects — with all of the distractions of home and family just across the hall making it harder for me to focus. But then I met Alanna. She told me in our first meeting, “Focus is what I do,” and, boy, was she right! Our coaching work took the guessing and energy drains out of my workday right from the very start. Every week had a plan tied to an action list and an accountability check-in. I was quickly getting through in a week what I hadn’t completed in the previous three months. Alanna cares about her clients’ businesses as much as her own, and she brings an amazing set of skills to what she does. If you need it and she can’t get it done, she’ll find you the right person who can. Working for yourself is a great thing, but working by yourself can be a lonely thing. Alanna offers the kind of wisdom and support you need so you never feel like you’re out there alone. And have I mentioned that I was in the black my first year and my second is looking even better? Thanks, Alanna! I’ll be sending my friends.”
